Solace（慰め）を見つけることは、私にとって非常に個人的で深い旅でした。安らぎを求める過程で描く作品『顔』を通じて、観る人々が自身の経験を重ね合わせ、自己愛の大切さについて考えるきっかけを提供できればと思っています。
私にとって「脆弱性（もろさ）」は創作において欠かせないテーマです。自分を本当の意味で知ってもらうことへの恐れは、他人との間に距離を生む一方で、理解されたいという強い願いも抱かせます。この《つながりを求めながらも、それを恐れる》という感情の揺れ、「葛藤」こそが私の作品の核心となっています。
つながり、孤独、そして癒しといったテーマを通じて、私の作品が観る人々に自分自身を見つめ直すきっかけや、安らぎを見出す場となり、自己への優しさを広げる一助になることを願っています。
Finding "Solace" has been a deeply personal journey for me. By delving into the intimate process of seeking comfort, I invite viewers to see their own experiences mirrored in the faces of the artworks and reflect on their capacity for self-compassion. Vulnerability is something I deeply struggle with—the fear of being truly known often keeps me at a distance, even though I long to be understood. This tension, the push and pull between craving connection and fearing it, is at the heart of my work. Through themes of connection, solitude, and healing, I hope my pieces inspire reflection, offering a space for viewers to find solace and extend kindness to themselves.
